Prof. Winnie Nhlengethwa – Vice Chancellor

Welcome to Southern Africa Nazarene where minds are engaged, characters are shaped and Christ’s love, lifestyle is modeled by Faculty, students and the rest of the University community.  You have come to the right place if you are called to holiness of heart and life. It is what holds the SANU family together.

SANU embraces Charles Wesley’s plea to “unit the pair so long disjoined, knowledge and vital piety.”

SANU engages minds in innovative & interactive teaching, learning, leadership, research and community service. At SANU, we are committed to shaping and producing graduates of high moral and Christian character, who will lead and move Africa/the globe forward with integrity.

The Faculty is drawn from diverse backgrounds and committed to nurture critical thinking and self-directed learning among the learners. The University attracts students from diverse nationalities in Africa.

The programmes are validated internally and externally. At SANU, programmes go through vigorous scrutiny at least every four years to remain relevant and robust.

Various teaching modalities are used to equip students with relevant knowledge and skills. Learning facilities are equipped with state-of-the art projectors, computers and other learning resources which enable students to undertake practical simulations and skills exercises.

The university supports and stimulates intellectual, physical and social creativity through student managed activities that include ENACTUS project activities, outreach fellowship, art, drama, sports, music to mention a few..

We look forward to having you Join such a dynamic University that will not unleash your career potential, but stimulate your spiritual growth for you to respond effectively to the call of Jesus Christ.
