ACADEMIC POSITIONS

Southern Africa Nazarene University [SANU], a Private Christian University based in Swaziland, invites applications for Lecturer, full-time (tenure track) faculty position, who shall be responsible for teaching, supervising students’ research, conducting research and community service activities in the Faculties & Departments indicated below:

1. DEPARTMENT OF MIDWIFERY

Position: Lecturers Midwifery (2)
Faculty: Faculty of Health Sciences
Responsible To: Head of Midwifery Department
Remuneration: The University offers a competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

1) Master’s or Ph.D. in General Nursing Sciences or Midwifery specialized in midwifery studies
2) At least 5 years of teaching experience in a college or university setting.
3) Registered with the Eswatini Nursing Council or in-country of recruitment.

2. DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL NURSING SCIENCE

Position: Lecturer Mental Health
Faculty: Faculty of Health Sciences
Responsible To: Head of Nursing Science Department
Remuneration: The University offers a competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

1) Master’s or Ph.D in General Nursing & or Midwifery Sciences specialized in mental health, pharmacology, medical-surgical and pediatric nursing
2) At least 5 years of teaching experience in a college or university setting.
3) Registered with the Professional council in Swaziland or in-country of recruitment.

Expected Characteristics;

The prospective candidates should have some knowledge and experience in teaching students at the college or university level. They must be dedicated to excellence in teaching with a strong commitment to professional and ethical standards. Must also be a committed Christian with the ability to model Christ-like discipleship.
