Department of Humanities

The Department of Humanities housed in the Faculty of Education offers diverse humanities courses.

These courses include are categorised into two broad specialisations being; Languages and Social Studies.

The Department of Humanities housed in the Faculty of Education offers diverse humanities courses which are taken by students enrolled in the Primary Teacher’s Diploma, Bachelor of Education in Special & Inclusive Education and the Bachelor of Education in Leadership and Management of Inclusive Education.

These courses include are categorized into two broad specializations being; Languages and Social Studies. The courses include: French Studies, SiSwati Studies, English Studies, Religious Education, History, Geography and Social Studies.

 The Department also offers Academic Communication Skills (ACS) at PTD level and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at Bachelors level taken by new students of all programs offered by the Faculty.

In Summary, students who chose this stream will graduate with the following specialties;
