The library prides itself with a robust and expanded library website at your fingertips 24/7. OPALS is rated among the top Library Management Systems globally and the technology behind it is contemporary with a user-friendly interface, less cluttered, simpler navigation tools and interactive.  The website is an important element of our digital infrastructure and presents a unified view of the library resources across faculties. New technological trends are embraced with an ever-growing collection of e-resources through weblinks.

Academic life can be challenging and assistance to cope is not an option. Your librarians at faculty level cannot wait to take you through the information maze at your comfort. We are excited about the enhanced user experience it will offer and invite you to submit comment

  • Membership Categories: Registered students; Faculty and staff; Alumn
  • All bonafide library patrons have access to library resources off-campus;
  • Electronic resources which enable simultaneous and unlimited access are available through OPALS anytime regardless of physical location;
  • As much as the library website is accessible without login, it is recommended that patrons use their login details to access their personal account history and make amendments wherever possible.

LOGIN DETAILS

  • To surf & locate required resources; students, faculty and staff are encouraged to Login into https://sanuhs-gnec.kari.opalsinfo.net/ OPALS and enter their username and password when prompted.
  • Your user name will be your first and middle name in lower case without space i.e. mendomuhlepatricia; where you have one name it would be your name and surname i.e. zodwadlamini.
  • The password would be your student or staff number, respectively.
  • If you have trouble accessing the website or your account whether in campus or remotely, send an email to report your issue to library@sanu.ac.sz. or
  • WhatsApp +268 7908 5676 / +268 76581265 during working hours in the meantime with all your details and requests
