In 2010 when SANU was established it was merged with the other colleges of the Church of the Nazarene and renamed to Faculty of Education. The Faculty is based in the Manzini Campus. The Faculty of Health Sciences (then Nazarene College of Nursing) traces its heritage to the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital founded by Dr David Hynd, the first superintendent in 1927. Training of nurses in Swaziland began at the Raleigh Fitkin Memorial Hospital in 1928. In 1956, a building of the Nazarene College of Nursing was constructed. This college was also merged with the other colleges of the Church of the Nazarene in 2010 when SANU was established and was renamed to Faculty of Health Sciences. The Nazarene College of Theology (NCT) is the oldest theological training institution of the Church of the Nazarene in Africa. Its primary function has been and continues to be the preparation of persons for the Christian ministry. NCT is the direct result of the Church of the Nazarene missionary efforts in Africa by the Rev. H. Schmelzenbach. This work was begun in the northwest part of the Kingdom of Swaziland in 1910. From 1912 until 1931 the college was situated in the northwestern part of the country and in 1935 the campus was moved to a four-hundred acre site in Siteki in the eastern part of the Kingdom on the Lubombo Mountain range.
The Faculty houses two departments, which are; Department of Business Management and the Department of Theology.
