On Tuesday 7 May 2024, Southern Africa Nazarene University (SANU) received a donation of textbooks worth thousands of Emalangeni from the Management College of Southern Africa (MANCOSA). A majority of them cover the subject areas of Business Management and Entrepreneurship, while some are in Organizational Management, Research etc. Receiving the consignment of textbooks, the Vice Chancellor of SANU Dr. Faith Mlotsa-Mngomezulu expressed her gratitude to MANCOSA and the relations that stimulated the donation of this nature. She indicated that the donation shall make a valuable addition to the current traditional and online library collection to enhance the academic pursuit of both students and academic staff, since higher education advocates independent learning and research. Worthy of note is that the consignment comprises of textbooks by notable scholars and latest editions. The wealth of information will therefore greatly enhance the academic activities in the Department of Business Management and Entrepreneurship (BME) and other areas of study. Present in this event were the Head of Department for the Department of Business Management and Entrepreneurship and the entire academic staff at the Siteki campus, the Faculty Representative Council Chairperson, as well as Senior Members of Management of the University. The University is moving towards growing the Department of Business Management and Entrepreneurship, and infusing entrepreneurial skills across all programmes of the University.
