Graduation Orientation Session

Southern Africa Nazarene University (SANU) conducted a graduation orientation session for students on March 29, 2025. The event aimed to prepare graduates for their upcoming 15th graduation and provide essential information about the graduation process. The registrar, Mr. Sipho Mhlanga, extended a warm welcome to the students at the session and provided an overview of the day’s agenda and emphasizing the importance of active participation by asking questions and sharing their thoughts. Dr. Ishmael Dhemba encouraged students to arrive early to ensure that there are no delays and demonstrated how they should approach the stage by the time they are called to come up on stage.

The emphasis was on graduation protocol and procedure. He outlined the necessary steps for a smooth ceremony, ensuring that each student understood their role. Additionally, he discussed the importance of punctuality and proper attire to uphold the event’s formal tone. The Assistant Registrar Academics, Mr. Talent Dlamini, who was the coordinator of the proceedings, ended the session. He encouraged the students to take pride in their achievements and to approach the ceremony with confidence and poise. As the meeting concluded, the excitement in the room was palpable, with students eagerly anticipating the day they would walk across the stage and receive their certificates.
