Congratulations to Dr. Khanyisile Nhlengethwa for receiving the Best Abstract Award (Ladies Category) under the thematic area of Pedagogical Innovation and Practice at the Tri-University Symposium on Higher Education Pedagogies and Assessment, jointly organised by the University of Eswatini, Southern Africa Nazarene University, and Eswatini Medical Christian University. Her research presentation, “Incoming Pre-service Primary Teachers’ Conceptions of Scientific Inquiry: A Baseline Study to Inform the Design of Inquiry-Based Science Teacher Education,” highlighted the importance of strengthening inquiry-based approaches in science teacher education.
